In this article, we continue the discussion about future of critical editions begun in volume 112 The Classical Journal by Keeline and continued 114 Olson. Written from point view two scholars working field digital philology, article affirms some elements Keeline's vision addresses Olson's concerns that vision. Concrete examples an active project seeks to translate visual traditional into machine-readable data reveal views are not as far apart they seem.
